INTRODUCTION

In accordance with the quality assurance framework established by the Higher Education Commission, the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the College of Nursing, Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI), Islamabad has been established to ensure systematic monitoring, evaluation, and enhancement of academic quality.

The QEC operates under the academic oversight of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and follows the quality assurance mechanisms prescribed by the Higher Education Commission, including Self-Assessment Reports (SARs), Review for Institutional Performance Enhancement (RIPE), and Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE).

These mechanisms support continuous improvement, transparency, accountability, and academic excellence in nursing education.

MESSAGE FROM THE QEC HEAD (PRINCIPAL)

The Quality Enhancement Cell at the College of Nursing FGPC Islamabad is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement, academic excellence, and institutional accountability.

Through the implementation of HEC quality assurance mechanisms such as SAR, RIPE, and PREE, the QEC ensures systematic evaluation of academic programs, faculty performance, student learning outcomes, and institutional processes.

Our commitment is to develop competent, ethical, and highly skilled nursing professionals capable of addressing the evolving challenges of healthcare systems at national and international levels.
